![]() "All you need to bring is food". Treat yourself to this cool retreat less than 4 hours from Phoenix in the White Mountain area. In the cool pines at 7500 feet elevation, you have 100 mile vistas on one side and mountains on the other. These are only a part of the setting for one of the largest privately owned ranches in Arizona. The cabins are light and airy with magnificent views. Located in Sitgreaves National Forest, Brusally Ranch is remote and surrounded by nature's landscape. The sounds you take rest by are wind in the pines, birdsong, bugling elk, and rustling wildlife - nature's peace to soothe the soul. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. If you bring your own horses, pasturing and boarding are available for an additional fee. Three vacation log cabins are available by reservation: The Longview, the Homestead, and the Schoolhouse.
