In the cool pines at 7500 feet elevation, you have 100 mile vistas on one side and mountains on the other. These are only a part of the setting for one of the largest privately owned ranches in Arizona. The cabins are light and airy with magnificent views.

Located in Sitgreaves National Forest, Brusally Ranch is remote and surrounded by nature's landscape. The sounds you take rest by are wind in the pines, birdsong, bugling elk, and rustling wildlife - nature's peace to soothe the soul.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome. If you bring your own horses, pasturing and boarding are available for an additional fee.

Three vacation log cabins are available by reservation: The Longview, the Homestead, and the Schoolhouse.

• The Longview is Southwestern luxury. Upstairs is an open area loft. It has 1 and 1/2 baths, kitchen, clothes washer and dryer, dishwasher, a wrap-around porch, sleeps 5 or 6, and is fully furnished.
  
  This spectacular 2-story log cabin has one double bed downstairs and a large open second floor sleeping area with a fullsize futon and queensize bed. The wrap-around deck offers scenery on all sides, plus inviting cool breezes. A complete housekeeping set-up awaits. Perfect for your whole family.



• The Homestead has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, clothes washer and dryer, and fully furnished. It is a pioneer home that dates back to the early 1900s. Recently refurbished, it combines history with a comfortable country theme.
  
  This authentic homestead cabin has two bedrooms-- one with a queen and the other a full-sized bed-- fireplace, and kitchen. A complete housekeeping set-up awaits. Perfect for your whole family.



• The Schoolhouse is an historic log cabin converted to 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and kitchen. It is charming, country, fully furnished, and comfortable.
  
  Many original settlement buildings remain on the ranch. This refurbished school house has one double bedroom and one with twin beds. A living room wood stove adds heat and a wonderful sense of going back in time, and there is a fully equiped kitchen. All dishes, linens, etc. are provided. Just bring yourself and your family.

Activities include a small golf course, hiking, and riding trails. Horse shoes, badminton, and croquet are also available. This private working horse ranch 11 miles east of Show Low and Lakeside/Pinetop offers blissful calm, quiet days, starry evening nights. Walk the trails, fish the private stocked pond, enjoy the paddle boat, try the putting green, view wild life, or use as your base for exploring all that the White Mountains area offers:
